How to setup TomTom map? [Copy link]

Different car dvd player come with different GPS,the hardware and software will be a little different as our experience,so some of the device run tomtom perfectly,some of them not.If the device can run the map but no signal,so you can follow this instruction to setup the map yourself:

1.Touch the signal icon.

2.Touch the signal icon.

3.Touch the “Configure”

4.Select the “other NMEA GPS receiver”

5.Select the baudrate 9600 or 4800,it depends on the hardware,you need to check it with the supplier.

6.Select the COM Port 1 or COM 2,COM 3.it depends on the hardware,you need to check it with the supplier.And done and it is OK to receive GPS signal.

Your model can work with tomtom6 perfectly after you made the 6 steps above.
You only need to do it on the first time when you start your model, the model GPS system can remember the GPS configure!
