How can I upgrade the GPS map?
Can we upgrade the GPS map?And how?
We just supply the demo free map to our customer only,we don't supply the legal map as the wholesaler.Sunday Buy's car dvd and gps compatible with most brands of GPS software - however hardware specific software such as Garmin may not run on our unit. As the wholesaler, Sunday Buy provides the GPS-enabled hardware only, not the software. Sunday Buy provides no warranty or customer support regarding GPS software. Sunday Buy cannot provide downloads / links / advice regarding GPS software. Any software installation you undertake should be performed or supervised by a professional.
But we can give you some suggestion as our experience:
A.Igo will be good working in most of our gps,so if you want to buy the map yourself,you can ask them for igo PNA or PND version map,please note that the other version map like "PDA","PPC" or "Mobile" version is not working in our machine.
B.You can easily to replace the map by yourself,just copy the map to the sd card,and then insert the car to the GPS slot,and then setup it and run will be ok.As a car dvd player wholesaler,we have many different products,and the gps system will be a little different,but the setup method is more or less the same,so we show you one of the menu to setup the gps map to make you understand,please check it below:
1.Please download the map or copy them from the supplier first,and then copy the whole map to the root of your SD card.
2. Insert the SD card to the SD slot which for GPS.
3. Connect the GPS receiver at the back.
4. Position the GPS receiver that it will see the sky.
5. Go to GPS section and press Options icon to setup the Rout of the map.
6. On Setting menu, press Navi Opt
7. Under Navi Option and Select Navigation path, press the folder icon
with magnifying glass.
8. under Device, double tap (click) Storage card(or SDMMC)
9. double tap the ".exe" file.
10. check box "auto navigation when power on"
11. Press OK, then press "x: under Setting
12. Under console, press Navigation icon
13. You are ready to Navigate!
